We’re off!

On Monday, June 24th, we set off on our 5 month tour of Europe. Our flight on American Airlines exceeded both of our expectations. The food, drink and service were all very good. Even though we had comfortable lie flat seats neither of us got more than many an hour of sleep / nap. I guess we are just keyed up and ready for the adventure.

We arrived in Dublin early, so early in fact that we had to wait on the tarmac for the ground crew to bring in the plane and unload luggage. It wouldn’t really have mattered as the customs officers weren’t at work yet either.

All in all it went really smoothly so we’re gratedful!
